Space Bird-2017

Space Bird is straight-up a tribute to Constantin Brancusi and his sculpture Bird in Space (1923). Brancusi and Amadeo Modigliani sculptures have been my inspirations for the entire OHHH SHOW. The bird is draw-knifed walnut on steatite with a base of white oak and stands ten feet tall.
