Whole Tree - 2007

This was a twisted, damaged and demented slice of ten-foot walnut board that was drawknifed into stealth submission and bored through; then based simply with elegance on a triangular block of steatite. It is 128” tall and stands loomingly on the stair landing leading up to our living quarters above the Museum.
