Nero - 2022
This is the fourth of the heads will roll series (Monique; Joe Cool; Zeka). The rolling heads evolved out of bowl making in 2010 when I was on a hiatus from sculpture. I started this chunk of old salvaged heart pine in 2020, but the head and base spanned for almost two years—it was a struggle. It’s a Nero.
