Lil’ Brother Oliver (Wayne) - 2019

Oliver is the fifth sculpture of the family pecan tree (Dufferhead; Lady Dufferhead; Rachel; Claire, and Chris/Pat).  A friend’s young son ask me what this sculpture was while still working it raw. I told him that it was little brother to Rachel and Claire from the family tree like he was a little brother to his sister.

The next time I saw the boy, he asked me if little brother was finished.  I said it was, and he said he would like to see it. I named it after him for his interest—Lil’ Brother Oliver (Wayne).
